Rally  Schedule

 

BRMSCC Rally dates for 2010:


Regular club events are between 50-100 mile in length, and may include some small sections of unpaved (public) roads. All dates listed below should be considered tentative, unless the event is being coordinated with another organization. BRMSCC events are regularly open to all; drivers must be licensed, insured and over 18. New folks are encouraged to bring extra folks!


No pre-registration is required unless noted. Cost is generally $10.00 per car,  special events and co-sponsored events may have different fees.


For each BRMSCC rally, a matching pair of trophies (one for driver, one for navigator) will be awarded for best overall score for the event, and one "place" trophy will be awarded for every four cars in each class. Novice classes are separate from experienced classes.


  1. January 24th - BRMSCC  "It’s About Time XVI” - Chuck Larouere, rallymaster

  2. February 28th - BRMSCC “Leap Road” - Justin Connors, rallymaster

  3. March 28th - BRMSCC “Hup, 2, 3, 4” - Doug Philips, rallymaster

  4. April 24th - SCCA National Rally - club membership (SCCA or BRMSCC) and

  5.                     pre-registration required.

  6. April 25th - BRMSCC “Which way is South? II” -Virgil Yoder, rallymaster

  7. May 23rd - BRMSCC “The Game’s Afoot” - Doug Philips, rallymaster

  8. June 6th - Steel Cities/BRMSCC combined event - "Where the Wild Things Are," Rick Beattie, Rallymaster

  9. July 11th - Pittsburgh Vintage Grand Prix Kick-off Rallye

  10. July 17 & 18th  - PVGP races at BeaveRun

  11. July 24 & 25th  - PVGP races in Schenley Park

  12. August 1st - BRMSCC “We’ll Cross that Bridge II” - John Laslo/Dwayne Fielder, rallymasters

  13.                     (*date may shift due to the covered bridges’ schedules)

  14. September 12th -  H.C. Frick Horseless Carriage Tour - Sanctioned by Steel Cities,

  15.                             staffed by BRMSCC, Rallymastered by Rick Beattie. Pre-registration

  16.                             requested, historical vehicles preferred. 

  17. September - TBA

  18. October 24th  -   BRMSCC “Leaf Peeping” - Jenny Ladd, rallymaster

  19. November - TBA

  20. December 5th  - BRMSCC  event - Les Walter, rallymaster
